This Toronto-based reference lists specialty African music shows and their call stations, days and times. Some have clickable web links, most do not. MUSIC AFRICA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting African music. Established in 1990, they promote events and performers alike. 6. Chando Internet Radio: --The pages on this brand-spanking-new Internet station load quite slowly and some are incomplete, but it's debut is only August 26th and the potential here is excellent: the Internet radio station focuses on the music of Africa and the African Diaspora, it plans 17 channels for $6.95/month and a 14-day free trial to newcomers, and emphasizes the popular music of Africa and global Diaspora - separated by genre/theme and tempo. Listeners can choose channels to suit moods.
